Lockwell Fasteners & Engineering Pte Ltd was formally established in 1987 after changing the name from the former Zhao Yi Engineering, a dormant company. The main business of the company has been the supply of precision and customised fasteners to fasteners to the local and multinational corporations; catering mainly to the ordinance, consumer electronics and marine engineering transportation industries.

Besides our associate factories in Taiwan, we also represent leading manufacturers from the UK for the Asian region. Lockwell also collaborates with distinguished manufacturers of precision fasteners and turned parts manufacturers from China, Europe and the United States. This network of sources has enabled us to meet the stringent and varied technical requirements of our customers with both competitive price and on-time delivery advantages.

Within a year of establishment, the company managed to secure long-term supply contracts with Apple Computer (S) Pte Ltd and General Electric Consumer Electronics. Building on trust and proven records, Lockwell was also accepted as “Approved Vendor” by our major customers include leading industries such as Tyco AMP, Tally AMT, ABB Installation, Celectica, Solectron, Chartered Industries of Singapore, Hewlett-Packard and Singapore Precision Industry.

The Company has well-trained and technically qualified sales staff to study the customers’ technical requirements and assist in cost saving alternatives wherever possible, without compromising on quality. Our equally trained Quality Control staff ensures that only products that have met all the agreed specifications are released for delivery to customers.
